Andrew Chan has served the University of Minnesota for over 25 years, working across various finance, accounting and project management roles.
As Capital Budget Manager, Andrew oversees the fiscal planning and development of multi-year capital improvement plans for the University enterprise. He is responsible for prioritizing and managing an annual capital spend of more than $100 million, supporting a statewide built environment with a portfolio value exceeding $15 billion and spanning 30 million square feet. In this capacity, he also supports the University's annual state capital request, working alongside institutional leadership and state legislators to secure critical funding. Andrew holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Finance from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management.
