Bruce L. Gritters is the assistant vice president for Capital Project Management at the University of Minnesota, where he leads a team responsible for planning, design and delivery of more than 200 projects within a $1.3 billion capital portfolio supporting the University’s teaching, research and outreach mission. His work focuses on construction project delivery, procurement, contract management and aligning capital investments with institutional priorities. 

Gritters brings more than 30 years of experience across construction, law and public-sector procurement, with deep expertise in risk management, complex negotiations and operational improvement. Gritters previously served as an assistant city attorney for Minneapolis and held various leadership roles in university capital project delivery and public and private development and construction.
