Leslie Krueger has served as Assistant Vice President for Planning, Space & Real Estate for the University of Minnesota since 2018. She has the opportunity to lead an amazing team of campus planners, space managers and real estate professionals for the University, stewarding over 29,000 acres of land and over 32 million square feet of space. She joined the U in 2004 as Chief of Staff for University Services.

Prior to her time at the U, she worked for the City of Minneapolis for 10 years, first as a City Planner, and then as Chief of Staff to the City Coordinator, and then the City’s first Performance Measurement and Business Planning Coordinator. She received her BA in political science from the University of Chicago and completed her graduate coursework in urban planning from the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School.
