Monday morning blues? Not for this crew.
While most of campus was still hitting the snooze button on Monday, June 22, a dedicated group of 24 Facilities Management Health Science team members was already fueled up and ready to roll at 5:30 a.m.
Their mission? Trade in the morning routine for aprons and serving spoons to help out the bustling dining teams at Coffman Memorial Union and Pioneer Hall.
A morning of hard work and serious fun
Despite the early hour, everyone had a blast! The team helped with prep work and plating, greeting athletes with a smile and supporting kitchen operations kept things running smoothly.
Taking on a completely different role for a morning wasn't just a great way to support our campus dining partners, it was a team-building experience filled with laughs, a shared pride in serving our campus community and a breakfast pastry or two along the way.
